Art Glass Solutions is pleased to announce a new evening class program. These Special Introductory Glass Art Classes are at a special price for first time students only.
The price includes instruction on a variety of different glass making techniques, the use of equipment within our studios and glass materials required during each class. The classes are an introduction to glass as an artists’ material - lamp working, bead making, engraving, drawing on glass, fusing/slumping, creating a dish/plate and glass casting, making 3D sculptures. Each class introduces a new glass making technique with a corresponding creative result.
At the end of the 8 lessons you will have the knowledge to pursue your favourite glass making technique in subsequent glass making sessions. Students can select the area they are most interested in and focus on this to explore its possibilities.
No prior experience is necessary.
Experienced glass artists will be on hand to offer advice and give demonstrations. Our artist/teachers are experienced glass artists, many with international reputations within the field of studio art glass.
Bring your ideas of what you would like to make so we can discuss and develop your ideas over the course of the introductory lessons. Your first works will be precious masterpieces, and your willingness to try something new and practice new skills will be creatively rewarding!
